GMKtec NucBox M8 Mini PC Overview
The GMKtec NucBox M8 is a small form factor desktop computer built around the AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 6650H — a 6-core, 12-thread processor based on the Zen 3+ architecture, with a base clock of 3.3 GHz and boost up to 4.5 GHz. It ships with 16GB onboard LPDDR5 RAM running at 6400 MT/s. Note that no SSD and no operating system are included; you will need to purchase and install these separately before use.
Storage Expansion
The M8 provides two M.2 2280 slots supporting PCIe 4.0 x4 drives, with significant capacity headroom per slot. The unit does not support SATA M.2 drives, so confirm your chosen SSD uses the PCIe interface before purchasing.
Display and Graphics
Integrated AMD Radeon 660M graphics enable connection to up to three displays simultaneously via HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and a full-function USB-C port — each capable of 4K output. This makes it practical for multi-monitor productivity setups or media use.
