What Is It?
This handheld stud and metal detector is a compact electronic tool designed for locating hidden objects inside walls, ceilings, and floors. It detects wooden studs, metal rivets, and other foreign materials beneath uniform surfaces, making it a practical choice for DIY renovators and tradespeople alike.
How It Works
The detector senses changes in material density beneath the surface. Place it flat against the wall, press the power switch to sample the baseline, then slide it slowly across the surface. As it approaches a hidden object, the red LED indicators light up in sequence. When all LEDs are fully lit and a beep sounds, mark the spot with a pencil. Repeat from the opposite direction to confirm the exact centre position.

Before You Buy
This tool works best on smooth, uniform wall surfaces. Textured, damp, or layered surfaces may cause interference and affect accuracy. The detection range has an error of approximately 3mm, and the target object must cover an area of at least 1200mm² for reliable detection. A 9V battery is required and sold separately. It is packaged with an instruction manual for easy setup.
