Six Detection Modes
- Stud scan (shallow): Detects wood or metal studs up to 13 mm deep
- Stud scan (medium): Detects wood or metal studs up to 25 mm deep
- Stud scan (deep): Detects wood or metal studs up to 38 mm deep
- Metal mode: Locates ferrous metal up to 80 mm deep, non-ferrous up to 60 mm deep
- AC wire mode: Detects live unshielded AC wires up to 51 mm deep
- Metal depth indicator: Gives a relative reading of how far below the surface metal is located
Practical & Safe
The AC detection mode is especially important when installing wall mounts, garage shelving, or kitchen cabinets, where accidentally drilling into a live wire is a real risk. The scanner works on drywall, lath, wallpaper, painted surfaces, wood flooring, and soundproof ceilings.
Convenient Design
